I saw this watch a year ago while on a cruise. I really wanted to purchase it then but it had a steep price tag that I wasn't ready to pay. I was quite nervous about purchasing a watch this expensive online. I saw that it was almost $500 cheaper on amazon and said to myself I think I should finally buy it. I went ahead and contacted amazon's customer service and confirmed that all products sold and shipped by amazon.com are 100% authentic and are not replicas or fakes. This assured me that I was buying the real thing. Amazon customer service even said if I was not satisfied with the product when I received it I could return it for a refund.
Now to the watch itself....
It arrived in a dark brown box with gold lettering GUCCI. The box itself did not match the picture on the product description. It is dark brown with the Gucci G's pattern on it. A outside box lid lifts off the actual box the watch is held in. You then flip open the case. Inside the box the watch was wrapped around a gray pillow surrounded by gray padding inside the whole case . It came with a little warranty information booklet which can be stamped by the seller if you buy it in a retail store I assume. When you purchase a Gucci watch through amazon.com sold by amazon.com you get a 2 year warranty through amazon.com. I went ahead a set the time and timezones I wanted to view. The watch looks pretty cool. You can wear it with about everything. Formal/Gym/Work/Casual. It works with everything. I recommend buying the watch through amazon.com since you can trust the seller and get the 2 year warranty. It does not have a stop watch function, but it does have an alarm you can set.
